We were very pleased to have been involved with the supply & installation of the Elizabeth College Learning Garden planter granite cladding & granite copings for R G Falla.
The client selected a Portuguese material Amarilo Real with a polished finish for the cladding and a shot blasted finish for the copings.
Due to Brexit & Covid 19, it soon became apparent that sourcing a supplier for the material would be a challenge, however we did not give up and finally managed to get a supplier based in Italy.
Originally planned to be installed in the summer holiday, unfortunately that date had to be postponed and it was agreed that October half-term would be the best option. By pulling in additional stonemasons we completed the work before the pupils returned after the break.
