Burlington Stone Brandy Crag, Elterwater, Bursting Stone, and Broughton Moor. Fine rubbed finish. 

Construction

Needle manufactured in 500mm high units. Each unit made up of 16 number 31.25mm thick segments of stone adhesive fixed with Akepox 2030. Base segment 1.5m diameter. All units complete with stainless steel lifting plate screwed into machined recess on the underside. Movement around factory and on site with specially fabricated lifting bar screwed into threaded lifting plate through centrally cored hole. Top 1m high cone manufactured in GRP to match Brandy Crag.

Manufacturing and Site Tolerances

Maximum level tolerance for all units was .5mm. All units were rotated to achieve best vertical fit and orientation marked on adjacent units. Final vertical tolerence of 40mm from design centre. Maximum 1mm step/lip tolerance between units 15 to 17. Joints of individual 31.25mm segments were smoothed in fact
