Cobo Sea Wall1

We are in the final stages of completing the raking out & repointing of the main sea wall at Cobo and we have also had to demolish & rebuild a large amount of sections.

What started out as a small project due to a part of the road tarmac collapsing, soon turned into a much bigger project as it became apparent that the whole stretch of the sea wall was in extremely poor condition after some very violent winter storms. The initial tender was for 11m² of re-build, this turned into 274m² so far, with more to complete.

Once again, the team had to work with the  daily  tidal conditions and with exceptionally challenging weather conditions, but on this occasion; on some occasions, it was hot & very sunny, whilst everybody on holiday enjoyed themselves on the beach below.
