Granite Le Pelley Jersey is working on the installation of 900m2 of dry stone wall using UK slate from Burlington Cumbria UK. The stone wall has a mortar bed 60mm back from the finish face to give the look of the dry stone wall. All the sills, lintels and copings are made using the Chinese black granite Shanxi Black with a honed finish.
Whilst the work was being done in Jersey, Pascal visited the factory in China to inspect the production of the Woodvein limestone tiles for the project. He said, “The challenge for this internal part of the project has been to select slabs with consistent pattern and vein.” The installation is due to start on site middle of May 2017.
