Granite Le Pelley is installing the curved rainscreen cladding for the above project using Portuguese limestone Moleanos with a honed finish cladding.
The stone cladding is fixed to the backing structure with Halfen angle support bracket. Granite Le Pelley are also supplying and installing the EPDM membrane, the cavity insulation and the fire barrier. Granite Le Pelley foremen Rui and Candido said, “The biggest challenge on this project is the weight of the stone but with our new lifting equipment and clamp we have managed to overcome this difficulty.” Due the architect design some of the cladding panels weight around 120 kg.
